The 4C’s of Diamond Grading

CUT

1. Many think of cut as the shape of the Diamond but it actually refers to the arrangements of facets. 
A Diamond’s Cut - grade represents how well its facets interact with light.

COLOUR

2. Diamond colour is graded in terms of how white or colourless a Diamond is. Colour is graded from D to Z, with D being the most colourless, and Z containing a noticeable brown or yellow tint.

CARAT

3. Diamond carat weight is the measurement of how much a Diamond weighs.

CLARITY

4. The clarity of a Diamond is determined by the amount and location of inclusions in the Diamond when viewed under 10 power (10x) magnification.
