Measure Your Ring Size
STEP 1
Take a piece of non-stretchable string, ribbon, thread or thing strip of paper. Wrap it comfortably around your desired finger, close to the knuckle.
STEP 2
With a pen or marker, mark very thinly the spot where the ribbon overlaps, making sure you mark both parts of the ribbon
STEP 3
Unwrap the marked length of ribbon. Take a ruler and measure between both marks on the ribbon in millimetres or inches. Enter the measurements above to find out your ring size
TIP
- Avoid measuring your fingers when they are cold, as at these times your fingers are at their smallest. Also, make sure that you can slide the strip chart over your knuckle, before you mark the point.Â
- Rings should fit snugly but slide on and off comfortably
- Wider bands may require a slightly larger size
- If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up.

Measure the diameter of a ring that already fits
How Can I Tell The Ring Size Of My Partner?Â
If you have a ring or can borrow a ring from a friend or family member, simply measure the inside diameter and match it to the reference chart at the bottom of this page to find your ring size. If you already know the size the ring was purchased in, that’s even better. If the ring feels slightly tight or loose, adjust by going one size up or down from the measured size.
