This technique involves layering real 18kt gold over a base of 925 sterling silver. Using advanced micron plating technology, we apply multiple thin layers of gold to create a finish that looks and feels like solid gold. This results in a premium fine look that offers amazing shine and elegance.
Micron plating utilises a complex process of building micro-layers of liquid gold onto a Sterling Silver base, which results in a final product that highlights the appearance and feel of solid gold, while still maintaining affordability. By having the Sterling Silver base, it ensures that these pieces have a strong and reliable foundation.
