We know that investment in jewellery is among the most significant purchases many of us make that’s why it deserves the premium protection of a Bevilles Care Plan. Caring for your jewellery with the Bevilles Care Plan can help your precious jewellery remain as beautiful as the day you opened the box.

We offer the plan in 3 Year and 10 Year options. Our Care Plan covers the provision of included services up to or equal to the value of the price you paid for the product.

Bevilles Care Plan Services are:

  • Jewellery cleaning and inspection;
  • Ring sizing (up to 2 ring sizes);
  • Re-tipping claws;
  • Stone tightening;
  • Refinishing and polishing;
  • Earring post repair;
  • Chain and bracelet repairs and soldering, including clasp replacement;
  • White gold rhodium plating (maximum once every 12 months per item); and
  • Resetting diamonds and gemstones.

The fine print

These terms and conditions apply when you purchase the Bevilles Care Plan (Terms and Conditions). It is a legal agreement between you and Bevilles Corp Pty Ltd ATF The Bevilles Jewellers Unit Trust (ABN 33 526 325 893) (Bevilles, we). By purchasing the Bevilles Care Plan (Plan), you acknowledge that you have read these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them. When purchasing the Care Plan, you will automatically become a Bevilles Eternity Club member as the care plan will be linked to your membership

What is covered under the Plan?

The Care Plan may only be purchased in respect of an item of jewellery purchased from us at the time that you made the purchase. Under the Bevilles Care Plan, we will provide you with additional services in relation to your product purchase at no further cost to you (except for the fees for the plan). Your Care Plan covers parts and labour costs up to the value of the original purchase price of the product covered under this Plan (Services).

These Services include:

  • Jewellery cleaning and inspection;
  • Ring sizing (up to 2 ring sizes; maximum once every 12 months);*Note that the Bevilles Care Plan does not cover re-shanking of rings and certain styles of ring that are not suitable for resizing – they are excluded from the resizing service under the Bevilles Care Plan;
  • Re-tipping claws;
  • Stone tightening;
  • Refinishing and polishing;
  • Earring post repair;
  • Repairs to chains and bracelets, including soldering and clasp replacement;
  • White gold rhodium plating (maximum once every 12 months); and
  • Resetting diamonds and gemstones.

What is not covered?

Other than the Services listed above the Bevilles Care Plan does not cover:

  • Accidental or deliberate physical damage;
  • Damage due to: misuse; tampering; modifications not undertaken by us; alterations not undertaken by us; repairs not undertaken by us; or a failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions;
  • Loss of stones or other parts of the covered product (unless caused by a manufacturing fault or defect);
  • Cosmetic damage from normal wear and tear including scratches, peeling and dents that do not impede the mechanical function of the product;
  • Re-shanking of rings;
  • Damage due to third-party actions or circumstances (for example fire, vandalism, theft etc.)
  • Preventative maintenance;
  • Flaws in gemstones;
  • Any loss other than a covered breakdown of the product;
  • Accessories used in conjunction with a covered product;
  • Loss of use or any form of consequential damages; and
  • Damage that is covered under the Australian Consumer Law or by another warranty or service plan.

How do I obtain Services under the Plan?

Please retain this Plan and your original sales docket for the product and this Plan in a safe location. In order to obtain any Services under the Bevilles Care Plan, you must product this Plan and the original sales docket for the product and Plan paymentm at he time of requesting the Service. If you are an Eternity Club member, you will only need to bring your product in store for Service - we will have a record of your Plan linked to your Eternity Club number.

Bevilles obligations under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The Services provided under the Bevilles Care Plan are additional to the guarantee provided to you under any additional warranty and our obligations under Australian Consumer Law. The Services provided under the plan in no way limit your existing rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Term of coverage

The Bevilles Care Plan begins on the date that you purchase the Plan and continues until either 3 years or 10 years after the purchase date of the plan (depending on which plan you purchase), or until the aggregated value of the Services you receive under this plan is equal to the price that you paid for the covered item.

Cancellation

You may cancel and obtain a full refund of the purchase price of the Plan within 30 days of purchase of the Plan, provided that you have not claimed any Services under the Plan.

Value of services

The value that you receive for each of the Services specified under the Bevilles Care Plan will be determined by the then-current price for that Service, as set by Bevilles. We may change Service prices, at our discretion, without notifying you.

Limit of liability

Bevilles total aggregate liability under or in relation to this Plan is the purchase price of the product. This means that if:

  • the total value of all authorised Services under this Plan is equal to or more than purchase price of the product, or,
  • the original product is replaced with another of equal or greater retail value under this Plan,then, we will have met all obligations our under the Bevilles Care Plan and no further claims can be made under thePlan and the Plan will be at an end.
